CAAF Standards Document

All CAAF Standards Documents are issued under the provision of Section 14 (3) (b) of the Civil Aviation Authority Act 1979 (CAP 174A) and also contain guidance information (ICAO Critical Element CE5) for standards, practices, and procedures that are deemed acceptable to the Authority.

Notwithstanding the above, and where specifically indicated in the Standard Document being referred to, CAAF may give consideration to other methods of compliance that may be presented by an applicant provided they contain compensating factors that fully demonstrates an equivalent level of safety.
