Traveling with culturally significant items
Passengers carrying culturally significant items on their person or with them through the screening point shall undergo private screening. Culturally significant items may range from traditional or religious headdresses like the hijab/burqa/veil, prayer caps, swords, daggers, kukri, holy water, and human remains in an urn. The latter is exempt from screening and must be accompanied by a security declaration provided by an internationally recognized national funeral director.
