Aviation Security
ICAO defines aviation security as a combination of measures and human and material resources intended to safeguard civil aviation against acts of unlawful interference. In its simplest form, aviation security is about the protection of air navigation and airport facilities, aircraft, passengers, crew, members of the public, cabin and hold baggage, cargo, mail, and catering supplies from criminal acts of sabotage, hijacking, or terrorism.
