NOTICE TO ALL AVIATION STAKEHOLDERS
Please note that the Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji is in the process of amending the SD-Airworthiness of Aircraft to include provisions to accept an Alternative Means of Compliance (AMOC) in lieu of the flight test report. This is only applicable to operators who may wish to comply alternatively thru means of an (AMOC) and not submit the traditional flight test reports during the issue or renewal of a C of A. The decision to submit either a flight test report or an approved AMOC shall be with the Operator and ANR145C maintenance provider.
CAAF pursuant to Regulation 146 of the Air Navigation Regulations 1981 published a Fiji Airworthiness Notice (FAN 01/21) which has also been revised to reflect the pre-requisites and requirements to qualify for an AMOC application and subsequent review by the Authority.
Hence, you are now invited to participate in this industry consultation process for the next 2 weeks. All submission to the Authority shall be made on Form QA109 addressed to the Chief Executive and shall reach the CAAF no later than the 2nd of March, 2022.
