Communication, Navigation Surveillance
The requirements governing the certification and operation of organizations providing aeronautical telecommunication services in support of air navigation services is contained in SD-ATELCOM.
Fiji Airports is certified by CAAF to provide aeronautical telecommunications services in Fiji.
The list of radio communication and ground-based navigation services provided are listed in the Fiji AIP.
The aeronautical surveillance facilities include the ADS-B and ground-based network, which is used for domestic airspace surveillance while the ADS-C is used for oceanic airspace surveillance.
CAAF also provides advice on all aeronautical telecommunication matters and coordinate with the Ministry of Communication for the management and protection of the aeronautical radio frequency spectrum.
